My science GPA was 2.5, I was a horrible student before nursing school but had some military health background and made A’s and B’s all through nursing school and increased my GPA to a 3.0 by the time I finished nursing school. I found nursing school a breeze and so much fun! I would do it all over again and went straight into ICU.

I have spoken to an advisor at my community college that told me I should do something else besides nursing because I need to retake my prerequisites. He put me down a bit and made me self doubt myself. But this video has inspired me too keep pushing and working hard. I know nursing is my calling and it’s what I’m going to do. For every student out by there struggling please don’t give up on yourself, we can do it! It just takes hard work and persistence! ❤️ thank you for this video.

You are so beautiful! ❤️ I'm a pre-nursing student and my current GPA is of 4.0, I feel like it doesn't matter how much I work my ass off to get good grades, there will be always someone who will beat me and get what I want (which is a spot in the nursing program). Other students who are also trying to get into the program, are threat to each other, and to me. People will make me feel like even if I get a 5.0 GPA, I will still not gonna make it.

Being in such a competitive environment is teaching me so many things, and one of those is how to keep staying positive regardless of other people trying to discourage you and making you feel like if you give your 100% best, you will not make it either way. Sometimes, is very hard for me to keep pushing when that pushing is not enough.

That is why I daily watch videos on other nurses who are currently going through nursing school or are already RNs, to keep me motivated and to have a positive mindset that I can accomplish anything I propose myself to, I appreciate you so much for your encouraging videos! :)

I'm graduating this December with a degree in Biology. I currently have a 2.7 gpa...will I still need to follow those guidelines??

This gives he hope. My GPA is a 2.5 and I’ve applied for the LPN program. I’m an adult student and didn’t apply myself well enough as a young adult. I’ve brought my gpa up and taken everything except for college algebra.

After 10 years i decided to return to purse my RN licensure but i had to look at what’s affordable and practical for my family ... ADN was my best option the community college where i applied i wasn’t accepted because they only average ap1 & 2 with labs and college algebra to give u a gpa which they assign points for ... after i wasn’t accepted i decided i had 2 options to pull up my point average and presently I’m re-enrolled in anatomy & physiology 1 & 2 with labs to pull up my point average but i have to get all A’s or it’s worthless... so your absolutely correct if you want it your work for it!!

I graduated from college with a C average GPA. I am at a community college taking pre-reqs. My toughest class that I have had is my intro to anatomy and physiology. I have never been an A student in school. I have always been a C Student. And I know some schools you have a 3.0 GPA i'm not even sure if I'll ever be able to get that. And I have a learning disability. Learning hasn't always been easy for me. And being a nursing major isn't the same as other majors. And I really want to become a nurse.

My gpa went from 3.57 down to a 3.30. It dropped because I took english composition in the summer, and got a 72 in the class. It dropped my stellar gpa down so much. I got a 92 88 and 86 this fall semester I was close to all As. I'm upset with myself for second guessing on my lab practical.

Ok. I’m having this issue now. My overall GPA is 3.0. I have 107.73 credit hours but I have a low science and math gpa 2.8. What can I do? The school I’m at now do average if you have retakes

I recently decided I no longer wanted to go to med school but instead go to nursing school. My problem is that I'm currently going to a four year university and I'm about to start my junior year. I'm majoring in public health with a minor in biology. My first year of college was really rough for me mental health and grades wise which dragged down my GPA (I was originally a chem major). I just don't know where to start because I'm not a pre-nursing student and my school doesn't have a nursing program.

I applied to a nursing school and got in with a GPA of 3.5. I was completely overwhelmed with how much i had to accomplish within the program and made it all the way to Med Surg 3 with only one semester to go. Life happened and I wound up not being able to pass to my last semester. Now I have a GPA of 2.4 and am in complete shock of how to even recover. I transferred to another school who have taken all of my credits that I have worked for to get me my 3.5GPA but now they are talking that those credits don't go towards my GPA in the new school. I want to quickly reapply so that I may "God willing" start next fall. As far as my new school is concerned I have a 0.0 GPA and it is hard to see how much work i put in just to go way below what I know I can achieve. the hardest part in now knowing that regardless of what I can do I may have to wait that two years to get back into nursing school.

So would the same concept apply for an accelerated nursing program (second degree)? I think my GPA is between 2.5-2 7 and I've out of school since 2012. I wanna go back to get a second degree in nursing and I need to take three prerequisites because my math and English can transfer. Your saying I could go to a community college, take those 3 nursing prerequisites and boost up my GPA to get accepted in a nursing program?
