Suresh Oberoi was born on 17 December 1946 in Quetta, Baluchistan, British India. Father was Anand Sarup Oberoi and his mother names is Kartar Devi. Oberoi has two brothers- Krishnan Oberoi & Jagmohan Oberoi.
Suresh Oberoi married Yashodara in Madras on 1 August 1974. His wife Yashodara is from a Tamil business family. The couple's first son is the Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, born in 1976 and a daughter Meghna Oberoi born a few years later.
His son Vivek Oberoi married to Priyanka Alva in 2010. His brother Krishan Oberoi's son Akshay Oberoi is also a Bollywood actor.
