I know that hyaluronic acid has been getting some bad "press" lately, but I find this serum to be very helpful in the winter. Added to wet skin, and "sandwiched" in between wet skin and TO Amino Acids + B5 gives my skin the added moisture it needs to fight off the affects of central heating. I also add a thicker layer of moisturizer at night, more like a hydrating face mask. I really let the state of my skin determine what is needed. I'm getting more and more excited about adding the MAS products!!! Can't wait!!🥰❤️

I'd rather wait for my order from MAS to arrive, in order to start my NEW skincare routine 😊❤️

I use The Inkey List squalane oil once a week after using my weekly AHA/BHA peel. It feels lgreat.

The weather seems to finally be turning colder! I’ve already found I’ve done some autumn tweaks and I’ve been using a blend of the Sioris Deep in a Barrier, Stratia Liquid Gold and Deviant Skincare Facial oil in the evening (1 pump each) and I wake up with soft and non-oily skin, in the summer I could barely stand anything! I’ll definitely have to think about swapping out my higher strength exfoliation for something gentler as well.

Our summers are mostly dry and our winters are pretty wet but usually not too cold. I don't find myself needing to change too much unless I'm outdoors in the snow on a sunny day - definitely appreciate a good facial oil that evening!

Up here in Frostbite Falls my skin can get dry in the depths of winter. [Usually it's completely balanced.] I keep my actives the same, but add in a couple of hydrating products.

The first is a toner / essence applied on damp skin just after my evening cleanse. I used to use Hada Labo HA liquid, now I'm using Rovectin and like it much better.

In warm months, I don't use a moisturizer at all, but in the winter I do. I have a lighter one (CeraVe PM) and a heavier one (Klairs Midnight Blue) and use the one that feels right. I've never felt a need for additional oils, but I have a bottle of squalane in my formulation supplies, I could add a drop of that.

I switch up my exfoliants all the time anyway, and will never stop my retinal or copper peptides.

You had me at Pumpkin Spice. I’m in California, U.S. and I prefer to say Autumn, it just sounds more posh. ♥️🍁

Hi Rob a layer of oil does help transition my moisturiser from Summer to early Autumn, but for my very dry skin I need a much richer moisturiser in late Autumn and Winter. I've been using the new Altruist face cream as a day moisturiser and I like it, but on cooler days a bit of oil does help keep my skin more comfortable. I have my doubts it will be rich enough for my skin in the really cold weather though (Scotland) and will have finished it before then anyway. I'll get a tube of the skincity extreme cream again, as I found it worked well as a daycream last Winter. I totally stop using any foaming cleansers in Autumn/Winter (even the gentle ones) and switch to milks/creams as my second/morning cleanse (I use an oil or balm as a first cleanse). I also switch my toner to a thicker/more viscous formulation in the colder months and add in something like the Laneige cream skin for a layer of moisture without adding weight. My already really dry, rosacea and eczema prone skins freaks out in the colder months and needs even more emollients/butters in my products. I do appreciate though that won't be something everyone needs. Best wishes.

Living in Florida. We only have 2 seasons. Winter/ Summer. The only thing I change is my moisturizer.

I bought Stratia Liquid Gold to use as my nighttime moisturizer. I received it today and used it tonight and can’t wait to see my skin in the morning!

Hey!

I’ve just found your channel and the information is really clear, easy to follow as I do find skincare quite daunting and there’s so much information out there it’s easy to get confused.

I wanted to ask for some advice - I have combination skin, suffer from the odd breakout and I also find my skin is quite sensitive. The only products I use at the moment are - Kiehl’s Ultra range (toner, cleanser, facial cream) and a Vitamin C eye gel.

I really want to start introducing new products into my routine and wondered if you had any recommendations based off my skin?

I’ll be adding back the face theory tamanu oil in my night time routine for the colder weather. You can’t beat the price of it!

My weather in eastern KY doesn’t get winter cold 🥶 until December or January, and just for a couple of months. But Southerners hate the cold so they blast the heat at the first hint of autumn. So I have to work around that!

My routine is entirely different as my skin gets so dry, I have to switch all my creams to heavy duty ones and also add in hydrating serums and facial oils in addition to my normal actives. My summer one is so much lighter while in winter I feel like I have to use a million things on my face to stop it feeling like sandpaper
