The ancient parable of Icarus explores the universal conflict between ambition and failure. The tale begins as the protagonist is gifted a set of wings by his Father, on the condition that he must not fly too close to the sun. Blinded by pride and possibility, the naïve Icarus ignores his Fathers warning and inevitably meets a tragic end.
