Everyone doped only fools think he was the only one.

You cannot deny he has an amazing pedalling technique, so fluid like a machine.

He’s absolutely right about it all.

I remember when he finally had to admit to doping, it shocked me everyone really thought they weren't doping. They had been way before Armstong. None of them wanted to. But it was so integrated. I loved how when they stripped him of his titles it was. In question if the 2nd place guys were going to get them. So they went and asked them what they thought of maybe getting 1st. They all said they were proud of their 2nd place. In other words. Armstrong deserves those wins they all were doing it.

He was the most professional athlete in every aspect of the sport, including the doping. Strip away the doping from all the athletes and Lance would still have won 7 tours, he was the best by far.

Best tour rider ever. Everyone was doped to the gills. And the sponsors got wealthy, why didnt they return everyones money?

Everyone they say doped back then.. what’s changed now? They’re still riding and climbing just as fast if not faster than those guys. Nothing has changed.

He just makes it easy to dislike him.. trashed everyone, said he didn't dope, then still can't admit he was wrong. Has to qualify his admission of guilt.

2023 TDF they are setting the fastest times up the climbs ever. Carb Doping supposedly. 😋 There taking in twice as many carbs an hour as they where 5 years ago.

Listen, look at cyclists today. They all look like 2001 Lance, or even leaner. They move like him, they ride like him. Lance and his team were truly the GOAT.

I understand that Lance had an INSANE work ethic! He'd go out on cold, rainy days where most people would stay in. He'd climb Alp de Huez (spelling?) three or four times. He'd do stuff like that.

Always the best Tour de France racer. Period. 7 wins!

I guess that "femur" is an euphemism for "epo, testosterone, growth hormone, blood transfusions, iv serum when had to do a test, motorbikes to pass epo in the middle of TdF, the best doping specialized doctor on you and your teammates, UCI helping you to not fail a test.."

Just 1 step on a 10 step process, right?

I wish I was a Lance's apologist but those days were gone

All cycling fans still love lance, or at least respect his achievements and hard work he put into it . Doping isn’t going to transform a couch potato into a winner, he still did the hard work and the training and the desire to win

If doping was such a small part of the program, why did he have to do it?

I think his winning formula was steroids 😂

This is exactly, what I try to explain to all the people who just refer to the Doping when talking about LA, but have never ridden a bike on a - at least - competitive level and/or know nothing about the sport or the history of the TdF. Before LA EVERYONE took an Off-Season, did all the spring classics to get into shape and then went for the tour on the material the team provided. Lance took the professionalism in cycling to a total different level: He followed a strict diet, didn’t have a real Off-Season, tested his material and actively developed it further incl. testing in wind-tunnel etc. He questioned the old rule, that 80rpm is the Optimum, he totally focused on the TdF and he built a real Team with US-Postal, where everyone was seeing his victories as theirs. And to be able to do that 7 years in a row makes him the greatest of all times! Beeing such a strong, motivated and focused person comes allways at the cost of not beeing liked by everyone… So what… I enjoyed these days and duels a lot! And btw: His respect and care for Jan Ulrich he shows even till today shows, what a great character is hidden under the competitive surface!
