I'm betting they will get the deal done before Game 1.

Bengals have a legitimate shot at winning a championship this year. One of the main reasons is the culture Taylor has created. In the past there was a lot of me me me from players. I don’t begrudge that because there was no winning culture and a paycheck was the most you were going to get out the bungals.

But now is different. These guys fight for each other.

I love everything about Chase outside of
what he’s doing right now. It’s selfish, it’s distracting, and it’s nearly guaranteed he’s going to get hurt if he does decide to play.

What did Higgins do? He signed the franchise tag. Is he worthy of a huge contract? Hell yeah he is. But he loves his teammates and knows what the opportunity is this year.

So yeah, I’ll take the guy that shows up for work. I’ll take the guy that didn’t forget he’s apart of something bigger. T will get paid and he’ll have earned it not only through raw talent and hard work, he also earned it for being a stand up dude that values his team and the opportunity he’s been given.

Chase is a next level receiver. Top 3 probably amongst active receivers.

Anybody seen that one touchdown by Higgins? You know what I’m talking about.

I’ll always take the dude that shows up. Because it’s not how many you win, it’s how many you show up for.

The hottest girl isn’t always worth the drama.

These conversations are sensitive but you should really not be accusing players of malingering as a business strategy. Chase has been clear it's a labor dispute.

Give him the deal but have him play this year for his current contract. That way he has security with big money but you get a cheap year.

It’s not about the players being selfish, the bengals paid Joe Burrow early and with multiple years left on his contract. If the bengals believe a max contract is only worth it for Burrow then I would hold out too. At the end of the day, you gotta do what’s best for you and your family.

It's ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS to me that all these fools are holding out, even with years left on their contract, for these huge money contracts and not a single one got a SB ring. Whereas, the best players in the NFL (MVPat, Kelce) continuously restructure for team friendly contracts so that the Chiefs can keep stacking Lombardi trophies. Lol. I guess stupid and selfish just never learn.

As a bengals fan. Trade him for 2 first round picks. Hate this crap so much. Incredible player but so sick of these one sided contracts.
