Muhammad Yunus, whose work alleviating poverty won him a Nobel Peace Prize, was named the head of a new interim government on Tuesday following the sudden ouster of Sheikh Hasina as prime minister this week. Though he's mostly stayed away from politics, Yunus is one of Bangladesh's most famous faces and brings considerable clout with Western elites.

Dear Indian Brothers/ Sisters, I am from Bangladesh. After getting power in 2009, Sheikh Hasina's govt has done very little development works at Dhaka city only but these were actually organic and natural development of a country, but
1. She destroyed the democratic system, election commission of this country. As a result there were no free and fair elections. She killed our democratic rights and democratic aspirations. Her govt was in power for 4 consecutive terms, without being elected from free and fair elections. This young generation, the protesters were not able to vote.
2. Her govt systematically killed more than 40k opposition parry members. So many people are missing, extra judicial killing, crossfires etc.
3. There was no actual freedom of speech. They were just tagging anti-national if you do a simple criticism of any policy, activity etc. of that govt. General people were very angry for these type of tagging.
4. Her govt systematically looted our stock market, banking system and almost destroyed it.
5. Her govt. destroyed all constitutional institutions by doing nasty politics, hiring her own peoples with no competency.
6. Unlimited and open corruption was from bottom to top. During ger terms, billions of dollars were snuggled by her people, her family members etc. She and her son is convicted in the USA.
7. Creted a goons like student wing. General students are very dissatisfied with their torturing, extortion etc.
8. Violated human rights at each level.
9. Done so many unnecessary experiments on our education system and almost destroyed it by lowering its standard.
10. Her party always do politics with minorities. But her term so many attacks on minorities were done by her party supporters goons.
And so many nasty workrs were done by her and her party. He was just an ruthless dictator.

Recently students protested, initially she killed hundreds of students, that ignited the whole country, general peoples were highly engaged and ousted her from power. It was just like an liberation war. And victorry was historic against that dictator.

We are rebuilding our nation where law and orders will be properly functioning, real development will be there, democracy and human rights will be there, all people including our all minorities will be living with dignity etc. We are very hopeful. Pls help us.

I understand Hasina always kept a friendly relationship with India but I don't know why I feel like you people still have a soft corner for Hasina. How can people from a democracy like India can support a dictator, blood thirsty and heinous human like Hasina who has killed thousands of students, ordered party's student wing to kill minorities and burn their houses if she resigned, snatched our voting rights and did her best to ground the country's economy? I really thought highly about you people.
