You can make a camera lens out of cardboard tube and a magnifying glass (smaller glasses work better, larger are good only as super-teles). Stack glasses to decrease resulting focal length. Just tape the tube to the body and focus with your legs or use two sliding tubes. No mount actually required, just need to tape everything to prevent light-leaks. A fixed aperture can be made out of cardboard too. Stop buying lenses.

If you put one of these tape-things on a 3D camera, it becomes a 4D camera which you can use to travel through time. Be careful tho, I went to a marine-themed school dance with my folks and now my sister is a quadruple amputee.

I made one of those tape lenses for my sonya6000. You just gut a old disposable camera and put it on a lens cap. Cheap 3d pop.

Is 3d pop maybe just a result from a lens being sharp in the center, less sharp in the mid frame and even worse in the corners? That would explain why modern lenses with corner to corner sharpness are so flat.
