This is the first Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro comparison video on our channel and we will do more and also the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus! From my previous review of the two Xiaomi Redmi mid-range phones, I'm pretty surprised with the camera performance of Redmi "Pro" and "Pro Plus". I feel like they came a long way, and Xiaomi is starting to close the gap with other high-end phones. We are comparing it with the best camera midrange phone, the Google Pixel 7a! We are taking images both indoors and outdoors, everything were shot by default in auto mode, on Xiaomi Redmi note 13 Pro, the AI mode and the HDR are turned off so we will keep it that way! While Pixel 7a is in full auto mode! Let the battle begin!

should've turned the hdr mode on in redmi since most ppl will turn it on and also cuz pixel has aggressive hdr so redmi without enabling that would not be even close

The color of the camera work is super pale.
In addition, even after the beautify effect, the blur effect of the front camera is still clearly defective!

In UK - I just returned my Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G because the camera was so bad. They're both £250 on Amazon, an it looks like the Pixel 7a is the hands down clear winner. The Redmi had good zoom but the pictures themselves looked SO bad, I literally was upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy S9 and did not notice an upgrade.

I think the redmi Note 13 pro is good, but I was negatively surprised by the Xiaomi 12tpro. The low light capabilities, especially with long exposures, were a disaster. Google is miles ahead here when it comes to astrophotography
