Dude those were insanely good guitars for the money. Now im gonna have to find one.

This fact is absolutely true I've been playing drums for 25 years and a lot of times guitar players will come in and they'll be completely out of tune take forever to tune you know three or four guys trying to tune at one time the baseball to guitar players or something actually mechanically wrong with the guitar fret buzz or their Tremors not working properly so I just got tired of it and if so I'm an accomplished luthier I made my first guitar neck out of Ironwood scrap from a deck and mahogany faces from cabinets I made a semi-hollow body I did steal the fretboard from another guitar and it plays fine love it it's got one high put humbucker in it and so I've had to learn to play the guitar too so I guess I'm a guitarist have a good evening guitar players to learn how to work your equipment

Yesss I love the mammoth slinky's! I use them on my Jackson dk3 in B standard. They're some thicc bois

Now you're giving me heebie jeebies! I wouldn't dare go past Not Even Slinkys. The tension gets too tight and I want to put as less stress on my neck as possible unless I am absolutely sure my neck will not be under a lot of stress. The most I go to is 56 - 12s for Drop B - Drop G. I actually like a little flubbiness to my strings.

I use Earnie ball "not even slinky" drop B whi has the 56 fat string ... have to try the mammoth not even slinkys
That top string Is thick 🤘

Man. I know all too well this feeling. Spent ALOT of time over the years keeping up with 12 guitars. Most of which have floyds. What's the old saying. " if I had a nickel for everytime"....lol. Totally worth it though after you break in the strings and get that buzz out!

Hey Rob, Ive never used Mammoth Slinkys before. Do they sound muddy at all? Do they have mid-range clarity and punch? Ive always gone with regular slinkys and not so slinkys in the past coz i really like clarity, but seeing you use Mammoth slinkys has made me think. Would you recommend them? Im usually in Drop C or Drop B, I dont really go into the super low guitar tunings unless im doing a cover of a song that is in that tuning. Would like to hear your opinion :)
