i saw it the other day at lighthouse theatre, and i have to say, it’s probably—most likely—the best performance i’ve ever seen from a digital creation. yes, even better than caesar from reeves’ apes, and i didn’t think anything could surpass his performance in those movies. but somehow, weta has outdone themselves again with robbie. 5/5, must watch and the musical biopic of the year.

I’ve never heard of Robbie Williams till I seen this movie. And this movie is absolutely incredible. I seen it at a mystery movie and this ended up being it and I initially was dissapointed cause I wasn’t interested in it. ended up hitting the credits with tears on my eyes

Got to see it today. The novelty of a CG monkey swearing, snorting up drugs, and singing sold me but it actually has quite a lot of heart and things going on. One of my favourite films of 2024!
