My city!! Thanks you for coming and i really hope you enjoyed your stay. Someday come at the Carnaval con la Fuerza de Sol. 2020 will be at february and its a huge festival with more that 10.000 dancers from Chile, Peru and Bolivia. Its with the beginning of carnivals and celebrations here in the north for the aymara's culture, calling for the rain.

OMG!!! My city! I didn't expect this to happen so quickly. Welcome to the city of eternal spring!! Here there is always a very pleasant climate. Where you will find an imposing hill call Morro de Arica, ex-Isla Alacrán, the oldest mummies on the planet, two valleys that supply the entire city with cheap vegetables: Azapa and Lluta. Inside these are many local towns and also the national park that shows you in the video or the highest lake in the world, Lake Chungará. Our Carnival with the Strength of the Sun, one of the biggest and transcendent in Latin America that integrates and unites us with countries like Peru and Bolivia. There are beaches along the coast: to the north you find the Wetland, a bird sanctuary, and the Anzota caves to the south. We have a lot of things more !! For your next visit you MUST go the Anzota's Caves (extreme south coast 10 k), Lluta's river mouth (extreme north 7k), Azapa valley and the archeological museum (chinchorro oldest mummies), Hummingbird sunctuary (also in azapa), AGRO market (largest in town, HUGE) among other great stuff.

I visited Arica in 1989 and in 1999 but I see that now it's much more beautiful! Great video and great shots! Really great shots!

By the way "guatitas" are stomach meat! It looks like towel but the best part is the brown and soft meat!

Thanks a lot ... Arica City is so pritiest city in the north of Chile, has an excellent weather, large and "neverending" sand beaches and riviera ... special for bikeing, surf and swiming. It is real amazing and special place to visit and even for live.
