Question of the week – Why would someone sell a property Off Market?

It’s a great question, particularly when there is a shortage of quality properties on the market.

Many people sell off market for many reasons including
• Privacy. Not wanting a large number of strangers through your home
• Advertising and marketing costs, for online, print, Social Media, video, photography and furniture hire
• Renovations/repairs required prior
• Decluttering required
• Currently tenanted and potential access issues
• Wanting a long settlement to enable them time to find their next home
• Financial reasons requiring a quick sale
• Already purchased and require a quick simultaneous sale

We have just viewed an Off Market property in this street and they did not want to spend over 6 months going through a renovation and they have found a completed renovated home they wish to buy.
