I've been keeping fish for over 30 years. From gouramis to goldfish to a full reef tank, and here I am with my 75 freshly stocked with angels because we always come back to what we love the most <3

The problem with these videos is every episode I wanna go out and get the fish you're talking about. 😅😂

I have a golden angelfish in my 60 gallon. My sister started calling it Jonathan, so that’s its name now. He isn’t a problem to any other fish, and he goes crazy when I bust out the food!

Angels are FANTASTIC! My dad and I started breeding them for local pet stores when I was 8 and stayed with it until I graduated high school. So easy! So beautiful! We had one called Big Bertha who grew to be 8" long from tip to tip and she gave us thousands of eggs! She had her preferred mate, but she would breed with any willing male. She would lay eggs in batches of 200-500 at a time and for a while, we just couldn't keep up with her as nearly all of them would develop, hatch and survive.

I am a big fan of angelfish. They're so majestic and have a lot of attitude. They're hardy and easy to keep. I had a nice group of 8 in a 75 gallon and they worked out very well. I will be setting up another angel tank when I get back stateside.

Angelfish were in my first aquarium and I still favor them. Thanks for another Ten Things fix!

Angelfish are cool because they originally came from soft water, and because of how long they have been in the hobby they have slowly been bred to do better in hard water. Because of this they can handle almost all water hardness, and a wide range of PH.

I’ve got two angels in a 75 gallon with two gouramis, some serpae tetras, white skirt tetras, and some Cory Doras. They all get along just fine.

Would love to see a more in depth video about angels. Wild type vs. domestic, are any varieties harder to keep than others? (I've heard albinos don't live as long as others) I have a 75 gallon with a 35 gallon sump that for 14 years is angelfish dedicated. Discus are the most colorful fish, but angels are the most elegant!

I had to laugh because I'm cycling a 36g bowfront and my cousin just said I should put Oscar's in there because "they only get as big as the tank" 😒

Just got my first angel fish this month. They are always front and centre, and very active. Why did I wait so long?
