Not true they tell you about reporting income when interviewed at the beginning and give you or mail you the approval letter and a form called a report form that says any changes to household and or income needs reporting within 10 days. They even do a mid year renewal asking if any changes. She was informed and was sent the reporting form. If she knows how to read and read her mail then she knew about reporting. I dont buy her excuses.

I work for the government in this department in MN and it is usually in the paperwork that you report your job if you work or start working. But usually, they catch it quickly when you start working and let you know to bring in your income and adjust what they are giving you. But it's different in each state. But some people like to play and work and keep and end up with an overpayment. But in her case, it's crazy that let it go on for so long.

She's full of it 🙄 she knows damn well those benefits are for people who really need it. She knew and even said she knew that she only qualified because she was unemployed. And yes they do repeatedly tell you to report changes immediately! The annual renewal is if there are no changes to your situation. I've been on food benefits for years because I live below the poverty line on disability. There's no question about what they expect from you when receiving benefits. This woman is just scamming and blaming the system.

She knew that she was no longer entitled to those food stamps once she got another job, the same way she knew that she wasn’t entitled to them before she lost her job.

Youre getting food stamps based off your application from unemploymemt but you cant put 2 and 2 together that once you werent unemployed that might have an effect on things? 🤔

I do not miss walking into a HRA office dealing with them people. Never again. I almost went to jail all because I missed a day going to my program. Very nasty people.

When you electronically sign your food stamp application it is quite clear, if you have ANY change in income you have to report it within 10 days. When you get your food stamp card, it says right on that paperwork to report ANY change of income within 10 days. Every communication you get, it says to report a change in income within 10 days. This lady should have been charged with fraud.

Yea, I call bullshit too. They let you know before you even start getting them that you have to report an increase in income over a certain dollar amount. It's stealing if you don't.

Baby in Louisiana u don't have to report anything because they be on it. They will run your SSN to see if you're working.

Video lady messed up, they make it crystal clear ANY CHANGES IN INCOME MUST BE REPORTED! and channel guy they delivered the food stamps on time - one should pay on time. 🔴And when an agent is rude in person or phone, just politely dismiss yourself say I forgot my wallet somewhere and try again few hours later on phone or few says later in person

SNAPS know I’m fighting for disability and know I’m $0 income. I don’t cheat them and if the doctors can fix me, I will work with my county to do the $600 and snaps while finding work and literally getting back on my feet. That’s what you are suppose to do!
