Not only do I like some of his covers more than the originals, but if I hear the originals while I’m out wandering (in store music, radio) I’ll often find myself singing his lyrics INSTEAD!

I don't think you've heard one of my favourites yet, a cover of Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" - his version is "Constipated". A fabulous tongue twister of word play, we can't hear half the originals now without singing the Weird Al version over the top, and this is no exception. The guy's a legend ;-)
