In this patient education video, Dr. Carlo Oller answers the question from one of his viewers.

Can I travel by plane after being diagnosed with DVT? If so, how soon after? Can I prevent recurrent DVT?

All these questions and more will be answered in this video.

Hi sir I was a ex-dvt patient I guess one and a half year ago, now I'm going to my village by bus and the total traveling time period is 24hrs and above maybe! Additionally there's no option in bus to take a walk every single hour...

I'll wear stocking dvt socks, will take blood thinner pills and Hydrated during travel is it enough or taking a walk is necessary??
