I quit my job and started towing with a 98 durango and a car dolly, eberone said i was absolutely crazy and would never make it. In 3 months I bought a 20' car hauler, and the doors opened to a whole lot more of what I could tow but was beating the durango to absolute hell. Went through 2 transmissions and 2 rear ends in about 4 month's but made enough money and bought a 2000 f250 7.3. Did ebpv delete, 4" back, ts6 tuner and intake. Put a 5" lift 35s bumper and winch on the durango and started doing offroad recovery as well towing and full roadside assistance and Mobile Repairs. Within 1 year I made over 150k and it all started with a $900 durango with a 5.9l and a used car dolly I bought. Now I'm looking at buying a wrecker and to hire a buddy to drive it all day while I continue doing long distance transports with the f250. Everyone that said I was stupid and crazy is now asking me how I started doing it and what to do. It was anything but easy and I made things work when they absolutely shouldn't have. But I stayed with it and never gave up.

I used to be a manager at a furniture store and we unloaded big rigs. The advantage of a semi is that you don't have to spend two hours strapping and tarping your load with 100 lb tarps. 😊

10k a week don’t let that dude fool you man! Just get u a non cdl 40ft. People keep going to deep and to much over head and then go outta business play it smart boss. But congrats man!

If anyone is waiting on their MC to season just haul cars on central dispatch until you're ready. You don't need a dispatcher and there's loads of regular people buying cars from copart and IAAI to keep you in business. Salvage car dealerships don't care about your MC.... Hell they don't even care if you have insurance... I worked in the used car industry for 6 years so I know this first hand.

My brother…that trailer is awesome. I’m still using my 1998 24’ custom built tilt trailer, but it’s paid for! I can’t see getting a new trailer until I get a new truck. Using a 2018 Chevy 2500 for now, but looking to get a new set-up probably next year.

Could you I imagine replacing tires on that rig? Thats 14 tires total, probably around $7, 000 for new tires all around. 😮

I have followed you from the beginning it is really great to see you following in the footsteps of your much better-looking brother and going CDL. I can't wait to see some of this new content. By the way, how long will your total rig be now? My wife's suggestion is to tell your girlfriend now that you are a real truck driver you may be able to afford her a ring in the future. Look forward to the next video.

I just bought over 1700 worth of equipment from you bud.. I have a f450 chassis with goosneck hitch supposingly it pulls 37k pounds. Do you recommended getting the 53 footer with this setup or just get the 40ft?

Semi single screw (used) 300hp with a Jake, small sleeper and start working.
I used a Freightliner, 300hp, Eaton 4 over 4 split axle. Great economy and had no problems doing 85mph and fuel economy will that trans was 8-10 depending on conditions.

I have my class 1 driver in Canada (CDL - class A) with a 600hp volvo vnl heavy spec. Since January 2023 I have put so much money on repairs because they are giving us shit load that I am considering going HOTSHOT with a 550 diesel pick-up and a trailer like yours.

I would deff run something like that but with a bigger truck like f550

This is great but remember at the end of the day, you are still in a pick up truck and still will get denied loads because of that.

Have a nice non cdl 2021 2500 limited longhorn ram with a new 40 ft mega ramp gatormade trailer. Started in august of 2022. In the hole a 120k. Down to 90 k now. June is my last month of hauling for now. Hit 45 of the 50 states. Need a break from driving and taking a couple months off. Its a tough business. Gotta stay grinding.

I think I want to do this type of hauling. I am starting from nothing. I am in a CDL training school at the moment, trying to figure out if I should go to work for a carrier or go into business for myself. Thing is I don't think the OTR will for my family. Dont know that there is enough work local Hot Shot either. Thanks for the informative video.

Have you scaled your new setup. If so what’s your drive axles weight with and without the trailer. Also what does the trailer weigh. That’s is a nice looking setup.
