Bleh I don't know if I love it or hate it. Her voice is so unique at first listen you're not sure what to think of it. But after it's finished she's all you can think about. Love/hate relationship only because I love the rasp she has, but I love the tenderness of the original.

I first just gave a thumbs up because I finally found a cover of this song done by a girl and she says "her" instead of "him". Changing the "him" to "her" just because of the gender of the singer just kinda bugged me. But now I love her voice too. It's so strong <3

Still my favorite version of this song. I played it at my Grammy's funeral because it made me feel closer to her and helped me understand my grief. I'm not dissing the original or anything, but I love the deeper female tone of this version and I feel the emotion more heavily. ❤
