This is very strange, it means that I have to pay for 12 months rent, 12 months health insurance, deposit 12K usd in Portuguese bank BEFORE getting my D7 while knowing the procedure takes 6 months or more ? Does that make sense ? .

Does passive income mean GROSS income (here in the U.S. "gross" means BEFORE taxes and deductions) or does the Portuguese government want to know an applicant's NET income to determine if it meets the retirement visa income threshold?

I ask because my NET passive income is U.S. $7, 000 monthly, but my GROSS retirement income is $9, 500 monthly.

My wife and I both qualify for the D7 visa and we are looking into applying next year. Our daughter is 20 and wants to come with us. Can she be added to our D7 visa? She’s also looking at graduate schools in Portugal too.

If I want help getting my Visa, opening a bank acct, does your firm handle this and walk us through it all, for a fee? If I come over in May and open a bank acct, I want to stay. But I won't have the $10, 000.00 in account for 12 months at that time. How is that handled? How do I start working with your firm. I am in Florida USA.
