Locating: The Missing Piece of The Puzzle

This is the 25th and final installment of Planet Underground episodes. Our goal was to show the world the perspective of utility contractors and locators in America. The episode shows why contractors do locating to ensure their safety and efficiency, and we believe there would be less damages if contractors had the same knowledge that locators have about utility systems.

Although we are ending our episode series, Planet Underground will still try and make an impact in the utility construction industry through education. Excellent video very informative. As a utility locator, I was always interested when the gas utility contractor would locate their own gas for their own crew. Definitely have a higher stake in the game. It always interested me when I compare them to myself as a water sewer locator when I have 50 tickets to do in the busy season. It would be nice to focus on one small road job at a time lol
