In this landscape photography Vlog I head north in my off road camper about 2.5 days from home to the beautiful Carnarvon Gorge in Queensland for 10 days.
I headed out on the first day on the main gorge walk to the Moss Garden, Wards Canyon and the Amphitheatre through rugged sandstone cliffs and tall palm trees
On the second day I hiked into the Rock Pool in search of compositions along the creek bed.
Carnarvon lived up to our expectations, a stunning part of the Australian landscape.
On the return journey home we stayed at the iconic Nindigully hotel on the banks of the Moonee River and captured drone and astro images.

All images captured using my Nikon 7100 and a Tokina 11-16 wide angle lens.
I use a cable release and a Vanguard Alta series 70 tripod for maximum stability on all shots.

Thanks Colin, great photos. Carnavon Gorge is on my bucket list. Don't you just love Nindigully, we stayed in the motel last time.

Nice to see you back in business!!! What a lovely place, nice relaxing sounds of birds and water, great opportunities for close up with those mossy rocks and trees. How you like to play with your drone(still dreaming about mine...). Gorgeous those stone walls, is any rock climbing allowed..? You managed ton great shots plus a drone f
