This confirms that Rex Goh composed the hooky guitar riff and classical guitar solo. Darren and Daniel had the chord progression, lyrics and melody but still needed some additional hooks!

When I first heard this song in 1997, I thought to myself that those kooky space sounds in the song sounded like it was from 1995. Sure enough, Savage Garden recorded the debut album in 1995!
