Crochet Daisy Granny Square || Easy Daisy Granny Square Tutorial for Beginners

Abbreviations:
mc– magic circle
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch
YO – yarn over

mc, ch2(count as first dc), 11dc , join round with 1st sc using a sl st (12)

Round 2(petals): 3:56
First petal (slightly different from remaining petals)

Slip knot, *YO, insert hook into any stitch, pull up a loop, YO, pull through 1st two loops on hook; repeat from * 2 more times into the same stitch. YO, pull through all 4 loops on hook. Chain 1.

Remaining Petals – in next stitch: *YO, insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop, YO, pull through 1st two loops on hook; repeat from * 3 times into the same stitch. YO, pull through all 4 loops on hook. Chain 1.

Repeat remaining petals 10 more times. You will have 10 petals in total.

Rounds 3-4(granny base): 7:18

Round 3: In any chain space, make standing dc and then 2 more dc, ch 2 , make 3 dc in same space, make 3 hdc in next 2 ch1 spaces, *(make 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch sp, make 3 hdc in next 2 ch1sp; repeat from * 2 more times; sl st into 1st dc to join.

Round 4: sl st over to next ch 2 space, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2 , 3 dc in same space,* (in next space between next 2 clusters of the previous round 3dc)* 3 times,*(make 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc)in ch 2 space,in next space between next 2 clusters of the previous round 3dc)* 3 times, sl st into 2nd dc to join.

Cut yarn and fasten off.
