Reports did recently come out that David turned down Roma. He's in a weird spot where those top level teams in the prem aren't sure he's their guy but it seems pretty obvious David thinks he's worthy of it. He'll be on a different team this time next year, that much is known, but I think he'll have to readjust his thought process as I don't really see any of those top level prem clubs coming to the table, none of them need a striker for the future unless it's a backup option. Best case scenario for him, at least in my opinion, is Milan or Barcelona come knocking because they need some youth behind their aging strikers.

Real Madrid and Bayern have never spoken. Not to mention Eberl already said they’ll let him go into the season not signed.
If he can turn his game around don’t be surprised if he resigns.

Say what you think about David...he is a finisher and gets the job done and seems to be in the right place at the right time when it counts and just bomber reliable for scoring on penalties when it counts (i would want him taking the penalty as a manager because he will ge the job done)...scouts want a sure thing so they don't look bad / everyone afraid of making a mistake...but still end up making dumb moves (look at Chelsea for example...hope David does not go there). Yeah it takes a little risk picking him up and just needs a manager willing to put him in a position that suits him where he can shine and believing in him...i think teams will kick themselves (having missed the opportunity) when he finally goes to another team and starts performing... I think Tottenham or some team in Serie A would be a good fit for him...

Wheeler: “Choose his own adventure”
Davies: If you decide to escape, turn to page 63
If you sign for Real Madrid, turn to page 85
If you hold out at Bayern Munich, turn to page 46

85…you sign for Real Madrid and end up on the bench THE END

46… you decide to hold out signing and get a devastating injury. You are forced to sign for Unattached FC. THE END

This is pretty much a done deal. Davies accepted 12 mil a year 6 yr contract proposal from Madrid . Bayern will close the deal for 30 mil with up 35 mil max on ad ons .

Why would Real Madrid pay the transfer fee, when they can sign him for free in January?

If Madrid really want him, they would’ve already gotten him. He’s a bit injury prone at the moment

Jonathan David’s agent is failing him.

Let’s be 100% real. Real Madrid don’t want to buy Davies because they are unsure if he will be an upgrade over ferland mendy. If it was 2 years ago it would be a different story. Teams don’t want to sign David because they think Lille is his level.
