I'd personally say the opposite. Unc0ver may be more convenient but checkra1n is made in a way that can't cause a lot of problems (battery drain, instability, performance loss etc.), in unc0ver some of those will exist although probably minimal as the jailbreak constantly performs patches in the background, checkra1n doesn't, it will likely make performance & battery even better than stock because of how much security features it completely disables
