Brian Crombie is President of the Mississauga Arts Council, the group whose mission is to promote the arts and build a stronger community through the arts & cultures , and is finishing a DBA on Social Capital, one of the chapters of which is how the Arts brings communities together, particularly diverse multi-ethnic ones.

Brian is currently Principal of Crombie Capital Partners, a merchant bank and CFO of Steel Rail Entertainment, a group putting a Thomas the Tank Engine attraction in Niagara Falls. He has previous experience in the entertainment / arts business working for the Walt Disney Company in strategic planning and corporate development, Keg Restaurants and The Jim Pattison Group / Ripley Entertainment. He was also part of the team that negotiated the purchase and financing of the Ottawa Senators NHL Hockey team and the then Corel Center arena. He started his career as a hotel restaurant consultant. He was founder and co-chair of the Mississauga Summit which had task forces on building livable cities.
