Not being forced to eat your "5 a day" is indeed a blissful experience. Every day that goes by in which I haven't had to endure broccoli is a divine gift.
Also, congrats on lowering your blood pressure 🎉

Good to see someone else in the uk following PHD. I’m in south wales I started phd February 2021 mainly because I was diabetic. By September 2021 my bloods were saying I wasn’t diabetic anymore although dr says (once a diabetic always a diabetic) and extremely reluctant to stop the pills. The bi- product of only eating ruminant animals I lost nearly 8 stone. I did go on holidays late 2023 and I’m afraid I got a bit carried away eating and drinking everything that wasn’t tied down. This increased my weight but luckily didn’t restart my diabetes. Although since the beginning of 2024 I’m back on track. Holidays coming up at the beginning of next month but I’m in a different frame of mind this time so everything should go as planned

Well done, as others have said it's good to see a UK channel 👍 I love the US channels, but sometimes I have no idea what they are talking about.. they all know so much about their blood and other medical info that we don't really take much interest in... they are probably right lol.. I like to hear about what people are eating... I never thought of corned beef! I do buy some organic grass feed minced beef.. but can't have that every day!! Anyway, well done! One thing I've noticed, I can sit for hours in the sun and not burn... actually tanned ..I'm fair skinned with freckles ..no sun creams! It's because that's natural, we evolved without factor 50!!! 😊

Nice to hear another Brit doing carnivore! Thanks for sharing. I can relate to feeling like a secret service agent when you go shopping! LOL I really scrutinise people’s shopping trolleys and see no proper food in there - I want to say something too! I started the carnivore diet August 6 this year as I wanted to heal my blood pressure, I took myself off my medication within the week of starting the diet, as my BP started to regulate, now my readings are around 110/72 - when previously my doctor told me I’m one of those people that have high BP for no known reason, he never asked me about my nutrition! Any how when I next see my doctor for a check up I’m sure he will be shocked. I also noted that initially my weight increased 6lbs in the first month to 6 weeks on carnivore, and I suffered some transitional symptoms, thankfully I had researched the ‘carnivore YouTube doctors’ and they mentioned that if your body is healing it will not lose weight and could possibly increase, I am glad to have known that - after the 6 weeks I’ve noticed my body composition has started to change for the better. Keep up the good work it’s encouraging to hear any info you have.

Did you watch "the magic pill" documentary? That was the trigger for me.

One of the 1st things I noticed when I began Fasted Exercise and Fasting (Pre LCHF) was the improvement of my skin. @69, now 71 I had that old people's scaley skin, dry and flaking. I lathered on lotions, creams, oils to keep myself moistered ... which really didn't work to well. But once the Fasted Exercise benefits kicked in then one year later Fasting, my old folk dry skin went the way of the other old folks who didn't Fast, Exercise and do lchf. Also note prior to my lifestyle change I became a Certified Fitness Instructor 2018, and that did nothing for my skin.

Yay, nice to find another carnivore in the UK! Re runs: it just means you need to play with the protein/fat ratio; also, something I noticed but haven't found an explanation for - if you drink water shortly before or after eating, and especially during, that definitely contributes to runs, it slows down the digestion as well, can make you feel sluggish so not nice - I had to drop the habit of drinking myself silly and get better timing for water.

Hello! Thanks for the video. Well done!

So, I have been on keto, ketovore, carnivore and off all on and off for way too long now. I have reached a plateau that I want to break. I'll follow your journey, and I'll join along with yer.

Have a great day.

I work for a supermarket and when I see what the majority of customers buy these days it’s so shocking! I’m no angel but I have for best part of 18 months done LCHF and lost 5st I have meat days off and on through out the wk but do enjoy a bit of low carb veg every now and then. Well done on your progress so far, look forward to more content 👍 🥩
