‘I don’t have to do everything today, I’ going do somethings today. I can do that.’ Another mantra I’m taking from you! Loved the cameo from a certain Benjamin.

I also find that I often need to remind myself to just focus on one task at a time, as otherwise I get distracted very easily. Loved this vlog! 😃

it needs to be talked about over and over again but THE HAIRRR!!! it is truly so so gorg. loving these little bits of your life. will be adding Bell, Book and Candle to my watchlist and i think what i'm experiencing with the Nelson is what i'm experiencing with your first read of it! it's fine! and everything that tickles my brain, but just fine!

Love the purple hair! I'm also always reminding myself to just do the tasks I need to do in small chunks and not worry about whether or not it's perfect--but I still put everything off to the last minute lol.

Accomplish tasks in small ways, imperfectly. I needed that MANTRA! I love how you have the ability to change your hair. I’m entering into a more creative phase with my hair in ‘24. I can feel it. 🤔😲

I’m glad you’re talking about this Maggie Nelson. I’ve wondered about it. art Monsters sounds so interesting! It’s so interesting to hear more about The Second Sex! That intro was AMAZING!

Also, I totally needed to hear your reminder that it’s Winter and we’re mammals after all. Be compassionate to ourselves. I tend to make myself go out for a run in increasingly colder and colder weather because I fight the hunkering down aspect of being a mammal in Winter! Oy. I loved this reminder. So well put, my friend!

plants in the foreground is the best way to film imo. been loving this haircut and color on you!! my copy of art monsters is in transit to my branch of the library, can’t wait to get to it!! your copy of the second sex looks so tiny compared to the huge brick of an edition that i have… i really need to get to that at some point too

The biggest and most important thing of the week you did, babe (dyeing your hair purple!!!)
capricorn season is gone, we don't have to do so much anymore. Aquarius season is the communist season: trabajar menos. Trabajar todos. Producir lo necessário. Redistribuir todos.
Hope you find balance and peace on your days, sophie 💖

I remember feeling the same way. Even now, my memory is like generally being mind blown the first half and then completely blanking on the second half cause it felt just meh 😂 And art monsters sounds fascinatinggg. Also also your little pepperoni plant (thats not its name but my brain keeps wanting to call it that) is so cute!!!

Hell yes to being compassionate with ourselves! Hope that balances gets a lil easier!

Call me a cave man but I would rather not know 🤫 the politics behind anyone's art I would rather just look at it, as for example the art on the cover of that book is appropriately bizarre and interesting by itself. Politics is for those other creatures, the politicians. That is a great video montage that you start with you have video art skills in addition to everything else, even the still of the olives in the bowl looks great with excellent composition and with the shadow of the bowl showing prominently, you really are a lady of all talents.
