For the most authentic Steve Harris experience, would it be best to run through a powered PA monitor, or through the effects return on a bass amp? I am thinking about the fact that it already has built in speaker emulation.

You have to redo this demo with a Steve Harris Signature Precision Bass with his flatwound set and a Marshall 1960b cabinet with four 12" EVM12L speakers in it :)

I don't like the steve harris pedal because you cant have 2 separate tones, only 2 different volumes.
