I don’t expect anyone to read this wall of text, but the main thing I want to say is that nice teachers don’t get the amount of salary they deserve.
The kindergarten teacher one…
I had that one kindergarten teacher who was super nice and I really loved her for that. She cared about us, showed us how to weave, she helped us do our DIY stuff, she was fair, she didn’t look away when someone got bullied and she helped to stop bullies, she sometimes brought us sweets, let us call her by her first name and stuff like that. I actually really missed her after going to primary school.
But on the other hand, I also had a different teacher before her who was the complete opposite. She was an old woman, we had to call her by mrs. (name) instead of her first name like we did with the other ones, she didn’t stop bullies and sometimes even joined them in and told you to stop acting like a baby when you stood up for yourself (legit happened to me, she gave me the classic ”ignore them“ and ”It’s your own fault and not my problem“ when there was a dozen kindergarteners around me laughing about me. She also then grabbed my arm pulled me away for being ”violent“ against the others when I stood up for myself by explaining but didn’t do anything against the other kids. My mom reported her for stuff like that, but that teacher then pulled me into a room and was like ”this never happened, you are lying, stop lying and apologize“ and I gave up. That teacher also hated my drawings and the drawings of a friend of mine (we drew the classic sunny meadows with trees, flowers, butterflies and hearts and she called them a waste of paper and crayons), constantly complained about me holding pencils the wrong way (I still do that HAHAHAHAHA) and said that I was unhygienic for not using a tissue after randomly sneezing one time while I didn’t even have a cold)).
But that nice women that was my later kindergarten teacher deserves a higher salary.
