I’m 41 and AIM was literally our #1 form of communication as college students. Party info was put up on away messages. We’d keep in touch with college friends and friends from home going to different colleges and you NEVER EVER would sign off incase you missed an IM. I had horrific away messages the worst being “I’m Ghost” when I was at class or at a party etc etc. it was from a ghost face killa song and I’m properly ashamed. Haha
