Dr. Phil and Bill Maher agree and disagree, as per usual on a ton of topics, including on how to feel good, the importance of toeing the line in art, the challenges posed by bureaucracy and regulations, particularly in industries like entertainment and energy (solar anyone?). They get serious about stupidity on campuses, Israel, and the reactions on university campuses and moral equivalency. And fittingly, they end on the finite nature of life.

Students are spending $90, 000+ on college education, and they cannot even tell who the bad guys are. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The moral confusion is purposeful… it’s being taught to them.

An incitement to violence is not free speech.

I’m shocked that Dr. Phil's life is being threatened. It’s frightening. He didn’t do anything except condemn a terrorist organization. OMG It’s a terrorist organization! Something really, really bad is happening in the U.S., and the situation is very scary.

Critical thinking should start a lot younger than University.

They are not morally confused. They are outright immoral.

It's sad that students don't learn about history between 1938 to 2010. If it's not about slavery or about gender studies it doesn't matter to universities.

At US universities, instead of critical thinking, they're taught 'Critical Race Theory'

Those universities should LOSE ALL FUNDING AND ACCREDITATION.

I am Canadian, and I attended grad school at one of these elite universities in the States decades ago. Yes, I am pissed off by the answer that the president of my Alma Mater gave in response to pro-hamas protests on campus.

Exactly, freedom of speech does not mean incitement to violence.

The overwhelming majority of Palestinians voted for Hamas to represent them. The majority are *not* innocent when they vote for a terrorist group that started a war they are losing.

I went to college in 2013. Even that early, we had to take a class called "the American Experience" which was basically a critical race theory class before that became a thing. The whole class was just talking about how awful America was...from a professor who had never been outside of Canada or the US. I was a STEM major and this was still a required course. As long as you talked about how bad the US was, you got an A. Easiest and worst class I've sat in.

There was a local university where the university president shut down the tent encampments within days. Protestors were told to leave, refused, and then police shut it down. She also ID'd which protestors were students and then expelled them from the university and put it on their record. The problem is other universities let protests and tent encampments go on far too long.

Thank you, Dr Phil, for not using the euphemism “pro-Palestinian” when talking about these students!! Thank you for calling them WHAT THEY REALLY ARE— Pro-Terrorists, pro-Hamas!!!
