Two medics doing what medics were meant to do, save lives. The nationality didn’t matter, was a life! What an awesome tribute to these men❤

This excellent story is a prime example of how there are brave men who never touched a weapon. It is also an affirmation to the phrase "War is hell."

Humanity in the midst of war. We read about the men and women, on both sides, who come to the aid of the fallen who wear the uniform of their enemy. I pray this will not become a forgotten virtue.

Why is this story not more widely known and appreciated? The Greatest Generation indeed!

Medics have a special place in the Lords Army. I always have to reference Cpl Doss. Didn’t even carry a weapon, his command gave him so much hell but he was heaven sent and made history.

I feel unworthy and humble when I watch these stories . ❤

To put aside nationality and fight to save the lives of men who're both allies and enemies equally is the greatest act of compassion, mercy and love. God bless both of those brave medics.

Thank you for highlighting these two gentlemen. Also with them were Medics David Tuel and Joseph "Mother" Madigan. My father fought with them and on January 10th my father was struck by a tree burst and was gravely injured and these fella's saved his life. Some of the other guys set up a surprise meeting where I met these great men for the first time. David Tuel worked on my father mainly but all of the medics remembered him and treated me as if I were one of their own. "Mother Madigan was a double blessing because he also went to school with both of my folks and since I lost my mom in 1977 at 11 and my father in 83. I miss them all. Blue Skies Fellas.

I can not view these shorts in public. Every one makes me emotional and weepy. These valiant Men & Women are receiving a tribute so well deserved.

A debt we could never possibly repay but yet a action that must remind us Peace at all cost sometimes is not cheap...However it brings out the Greatness of Our People !

My dad was nite dropped June 5, 82nd Air Borne in that area. I asked him 6 weeks before he passed, "what did you do in the Army?". "We were trained in Iceland. We didn't know when we would be called. We had to blow up the bridges so the 'gerries' couldn't retreat. We didn't know when we would come home.'". Dad was 'over there' 18 months, along with an uncle. Came home safe. Dad may have met some of the 101st. Hoo-rah for these people for their bravery, service, sacrifice for our freedoms today. God Bless America and our troops!!❤❤❤

Great testimony that stained glass window art...
It's men like this that makes me proud to be from America....
Listening to my Dad's war stories is where I learned empathy from before kindergarten...I've never been to New Guinea but I've been there a thousand times through my Father's eyes. Miss you Pop's...
