Booking a spontaneous solo weekend nature retreat is just what the doctor ordered! After booking on Wednesday, I was packing on Friday and on the road on Saturday!
I decided to visit De Veluwe region in The Netherlands. This region consists of multiple national parks and other amazing outdoor areas. And it is just over an hour's drive east of Amsterdam.
During my 2-day visit, I enjoyed three amazing walks and soaked up all that lush fresh air and sunny autumn sun rays. The first stop was Deelerwoud, the second was Wolfheze, and last but not least was Planken Wambuis walking route.
