I share my thoughts on all the books I read in January-- which books I thought were worth the read and which books I did not enjoy as much. I read significantly more this month than I usually do, so this is not the norm for me! The Ones Who Walked Away from Omelas nearly broke me when I read it. I very literally stayed awake thinking about it. I think she did an amazing job of making her point yet avoiding stating it outright. She makes the reader work to figure it out. I had a professor who called it a morality test LOL

just binge-watched all your videos and I'm loving your channel!

for locations, I enjoy seeing people out and about when recording, but I do like when they're home and more likely to have the books on hand so they can hold it up while talking about it. I tend to multitask with wrap-ups in the background. sometimes I can be halfway through listening to someone talking about a book before I realize "okay, I want to add this to my tbr" and I'll have to rewind to figure out the title. alternatively, I appreciate when they leave a picture of the cover on-screen while talking about it, if they don't have the book physically with them.

but overall, I don't mind any location as long as the audio's solid, which yours is since you have the little mic! I usually put auto-captions on and crisp audio helps make them more accurate.
