Sending _"normally classified"_ nuclear subs, ships, and fighter jets sure sends a clear message of _"trying to bring the temperature down."_ Imagine if the goal was to escalate. Let me guess: the show of force is supposed to "deter" Iran and Hezbollah. Iran must prefer *caving* into a "show of military might" by its rivals over *responding* to a clear violation of its sovereignty. Notwithstanding all the hysterical barking about an imminent Iranian attack, Iran has not divulged when, how, or where it will retaliate. To show just how serious the U.S. is about bringing the hostilities in Gaza to an end, consider its cavalier attitude towards the idea of *eliminating* individuals who are supposed to be at the negotiating table. Once you eliminate the person you should be having a dialogue with, who will be left to do the talking? A ghost, perhaps?

As a former US veteran I have a question in my imagination I am wondering when humanitarian Aid turned from food and shelter and blankets to f-16s to Abrams tanks with specially tipped Munitions and USA fully funding the operation? Any takers???
