Minnesota Vikings news and rumors have shifted to the possibility of the NFL expanding the NFL regular season to 18 games. The Vikings could benefit from this because the more games in the NFL regular season, the more revenue the Vikings can receive throughout the season. When the NFL expanded to 17 games players received an extra paycheck, but the additional paycheck did not count towards the team's salary caps. The nfl needs to add farm teams to each team let them play on Wednesday against each other so when a quality player goes down you can send him back up to the A team this would generate $$ i know its a lot of work but think about the future!!

If an 18-game schedule occurs, the rosters need to be expanded with two bye weeks. The Super Bowl should be played on President Day weekend.

I think the NFL should reward defenses when they stop the offense during en extra point attempt or a 2 point conversion attempt. If the offense has a 1 point attempt fumble or a kick blocked and the defense gets the ball and runs it down field in the end zone give them the 1 point. If the defense stops the offense 2 point attempt due to a fumble or interception and scores give them the 2 points

As long as we get a good o line and defense, we at least should make the playoffs and also be sure we don't check down on 4th and 8 when the checkdown isn't close to the first down marker. As Troy Aikman once said in the divisional game with the Giants at 49ers, "Dumb players lose football games."

Greedy owners. Their greed knows no bounds. 16 games is plenty. Have a little consideration for the players. It's getting ridiculous. It won't be long and we will be watching playoff games against mostly 2nd stringers because all the starters have gone down through the long season. Enough is enough.

Start Darnold if it''s 50/50 because if JJ is 50/50 now, what's he going to be later? Darnold is what he's going to be, and JJ is in his NFL infancy. Huge difference.
