Reading Partners Virtual Orientation

Thank you for participating in our Books and Bagels tutoring event! We are thankful for your interest in Reading Partners, and for your support of Tulsa students. Your support on December 6 means that students have the opportunity to receive an extra tutoring session which will help them stay on track with their attendance and ensure they receive the sessions needed to gain critical skills.

In an effort to maximize your time with students during your Books & Bagels event, Reading Partners has created a Virtual Orientation to prepare you for your time with students. We ask that all Books & Bagels attendees watch this video prior to your event. The Virtual Orientation will introduce you to the Reading Partners program and tutoring model.

After viewing the Virtual Orientation, volunteers should also complete the brief quiz to review the main takeaways from the video. Watching the video and completing the quiz will take less than 20 minutes.

Please note: We have provided space for you to submit your questions on the quiz. We will be answering your questions before you begin tutoring, and will provide support throughout your tutoring sessions. You may also check your accuracy after you complete the quiz, and review additional videos for support prior to the event on December 6.
