How to find the last matching character in Google Sheets using Google Apps Script
This video practically demonstrates how to find the last occurrence of a character in a text or string using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel or Spreadsheet. It shows implementation of FindLast() function. The FIND() function of Google Sheets or Excel can not search from the end or can not perform reverse search. We implement FINDLAST() function using Google Apps Script and shows its use in splitting full file name into folder name and file name. This FINDLAST() can also be used to search from the end of the string. It can also be called as FINDRIGHT().
