Nice to see they're gradually replacing the old wooden ramps with concrete items. I'm FLABBERGASTED there are still wooden ramps!! They date back to the early 2000's and no other skate park around has wooden ramps that old. The concrete items are nice; brings a little "Philly phlavor" to NJ!!!

So much of that park looks fun but scary all at the same time. I really like the launch ramp into the park

Wow, I remember going to this park when I was still in highschool and there was an abandoned military depot back behind Ann Van Ville park right there with a hole in the fence. There used to be an abandoned warehouse building back there with more make shift ramps in it and Graffiti EVERWHERE. Of course at the time I didn't know but they were in the middle of decontaminating the military depot so who knows what I was exposed to lol. They've since cleaned most of the plot of land behind the park (300+ acres or so) and they made another park on the other side.

The skatepark though didn't have any concrete structures yet and was just the wooden quarter pipes and horribly paved ground which sucked for skateboards. If I'd known they basically repaved/ smoothed it all out I would have been back much sooner. I just got back from exploring the place today for the first time since like 2008. Its in WAY better shape now, a few of the things in the video though are missing but its still pretty damn good. Now its the best skatepark I've ever been to, but I haven't been to many.

Of course I haven't skated in years so I wasn't really able to try out everything there lol, I'm 32 now so I'm pretty out of shape compared to back then.
