Trump: Assassination attempt interview with FBI on Thursday | LiveNOW from FOX

In an interview with Fox News that aired Monday, former President Trump said his victim interview with the FBI on his assassination attempt is set for Thursday.

Text messages revealed that law enforcement responsible for monitoring Trump's July 13th Butler, Pennsylvania rally spotted his would-be assassin and flagged him to colleagues as suspicious at least 90 minutes before he opened fire. Meantime, the FBI told reporters on Monday that Thomas Matthew Crooks had a long-standing "interest in science" and "experiments," and as a result, his family "wasn't concerned" about the myriad packages he was receiving at their house. The agency says Crooks made 25 gun-related purchases online between spring 2023 and the first half of this year and bought materials used to make explosives six times.

The shooter was on the roof for a long time why didn’t the sniper take him out IMMEDIATELY? With this being a mass shooting with the potential to end a lot of lives! And why in the heck did the Secret Service NOT meet or coordinate with the local police as I saw an interview with them and they explained that the “SS was supposed to meet with them but no one showed up.” Not good. Also that the Secret Service could only text no phone interaction was available between them and they with their sniper at all. I have watched sooo many videos where the shooter was easily seen but the Secret Service sniper had minutes of him on the roof but didn’t shoot an obvious shooter but the SS sniper waited for him to shoot and allowed him to get off 8 shots before he was ended. This is very strange behavior that I find very suspect and can’t help being angry that no one was on the water tower or on the building he had no problem getting up there and ending the life of a hero firefighter was lost because of this horrific mass shooter was literally surrounded by people that were supposed to know what they are doing. As a Nurse for 30+ years it seems that standard protocols and procedures were not adhered to. This mass shooting should have easily been stopped before it ever started… and is criminally negligent on many fronts. People need to be held accountable for their decisions when your job deals with life and death you must be held responsible for your actions or inactions. Period. If this was a Democrat we would be experiencing violent protests, looting, property damage and destruction if we can go by past much smaller events with just a handful of people… this situation involves authorities on site KNOWING long before it happened that they had a problem and knowing that they in double digits had a person of interest and plenty of time to neutralize him chose not to do so. This is disgraceful. And some people should be doing jail time. A Black woman protesting at an abortion clinic got 3&1/2 YEARS for leaning on a door reading a Bible. Some of these people should be charged with criminal negligence!! As a RN I certainly would be going to jail if I had as many red flags that could have cost a life let alone only God knows how many could have been taken. I thought authorities were supposed to be getting better at protecting people from mass shooters by now. Some people have suggested that “maybe their hearts weren’t into protecting former Presidents Trump, however, again as an RN I would be facing jail time for not doing the job I was paid to do. And if these agents didn’t want to protect Trump wouldn’t this be premeditated criminal negligence?? This cannot be allowed to happen based on if you like someone. Ask Doctors and Nurses if they like all of their patients…. This is not acceptable. -smh

This is the first time I’m hearing the weapon was transferred to Crooks from his father. He could’ve planted the weapon ahead of time, but I highly doubt he was the only shooter or the more accurately one.
