All animals have a sixth sense, especially dogs. They know if you’re sad or not well and will stick close by you. They sense danger and when something isn’t right. I know that if I’m down, or not feeling well, my dog and at the time cat, would stay and lie with me. If I am upset and crying my dog comes to me and licks and comforts me. This dog knew something was wrong and thank god the people listened to him. Always listen to them if they seem to be moving erratically or not acting like themselves. They’re trying to tell you something. Wonderful creatures.
