I remember watching a parade where a protestor attempted to run up to Queen Elizabeth's stage coach. The guards tried to run after him slipping around and falling like they were in a Benny Hill skit. All was missing was Yakety Sax playing in the background. The rubber soled police were quick to catch the protestor before he reached the Queen.

As an ex Welsh guard I can tell you he isn't marching on his heels and is why he slipped, we are trained to drive heels in for many reasons so we don't slip is one of them..

Ammo boots are slippery asf I use to use em in cadets (even though the army cadets have banned cadets from using em 😂) but no they sound peng tho
