I'm looking for a side hustle after being injured at work and losing access to overtime, and on your recommendation I got INFLUENCE by Rober B. Cialdini. After just a few pages I was hooked. This is solid gold. A huge book, over 400 pages, but very easy to read and full of gems. The new expanded edition is a very relevant modern update. Only £12, absolute steal. I take it with me along with a notebook to write down every useful point. Also, I advise using TWO bookmarks, the second one for the notes at the back so you can refer to each one as it arises. I am also looking for marketing tips to promote my comic and this is an invaluable resource for ideas.

As a scriptwriter who read Save the Cat I wouldn't advise reading that book. I even know some industry professionals in the entertainment business who hate that book. It's actually a very divisive book. It's considered very outdated cause its principles don't apply to every feature film. Some of the most successful movies today don't follow the steps contained in that book.
