I would say you are a professor today but not in the classic area. 👍 Always enjoy how you teach and approach the game.

Would be super cool if you did some guest lectures about poker / your career at colleges. I'm at Notre Dame and would be more than happy to try to help organize a speaker event for you to come out :D

I see a lot of philosophy majors in the data analytics space. Honestly would rather have a philosophy major as my boss than an MBA. Much more likely to be thoughtful about workloads and burnout.

Current college student right now doing Computer Science and Math while playing live PLO and NLHE for an income. I sometimes feel the same way, like I have no motivation to do anything beyond my work, or study in research for my fields or anything like that, but poker I’ll spend hours doing work on it and reviewing hands just because I love the game. I built up my roll playing online but have since quit because the games are way softer live, I wonder if I should go back though… Still my parents absolutely hate the idea of poker lol

as a philosophy professor who enjoys your content I can easily believe you'd have been good at teaching it <3

Learning poker was the DUMBEST thing I ever did -- because I found out I was good at it, and I couldn't stop. It is, no matter how good you are, a form of gambling. I should have stuck to the practice of law. I was good at that, too. I lost everything.

He seems like a nice person, still don’t try poker for a living. Especially now days. It’s to hard, even the dumbass’s know basic strategies & good luck finding a soft game over 5-10 10-10, depending on the state you’re in. Beat those games a couple 3 weeks & next you know the stop or in some casinos your not invited back.
There’s expectations but finding a game worth playing in these days….🤷‍♂️
