Nothing like collecting with your dad. I started collecting Star Wars toys and comics with mine in the 80s. Still continuing on to this day, long after he passed.

Yeh the hardcore CGC investing is the way to go stickyduck. Ride the storm a decade, buy and hold, and the dirty flippers will lose the increases coming cause they'll sell too soon. LTI duckman. Long term investment.

I saw your video picture and I saw first haunted tank and I’m like I am surprised Dans Dad doesn’t have it in the PC. And then the video opens and there is your dad. What a treat. This gave me the idea of maybe my 13 year old and I taking our first road trip together out of state to a big con. I’m not sure how prices compare to up north (very competitive prices), but maybe it would just be fun to go.

I’d definitely check out New Force or Dale Roberts Comics at the convention. They both usually have high dollar keys raw and CGC, so they might have those Haunted Tank issues. I’ve bought from both of them over the years and they are both great dealers.

Sticky Goose, San Diego Comic Con#1 isn't first Hellboy it's Dime Press#4 but also heard it was Next Men#21, so just do research on those books but I know Dime Press#4 is a very rare book to get and I have never seen it at a com before so good luck on the hunt.

This year will be my first heroes con....we always go to C2E2 every year but this year we are trying a new con! Since it is only 3 hrs away we are giving it a shot! See you there!
