Nothing can top Russell Crowes Gladiator. It’s just not possible. Maybe this will watchable but Russell’s Gladiator was so massive that it propelled him to superstardom. It changed his whole life because he was soooo incredible. Just can’t be redone.

I do completely agree that classics such as gladiator doesn't need a sequel. The intensity brought by Russell crowe can never be touched .
Denzel Washington is simply out of place here, he is not cut out for this.
