Why is drinking in the street even allowed in London? I’m from a town outside London and it was banned here years ago. No wonder things are getting progressively worse when there are never any consequences for bad behaviour. Pitiful.

Those police officers are very patient. In the US, he would have been in handcuffs the moment he got into their faces. At the very least, when he wouldn’t leave right away.

This one man had the attention of all the armed police officers while leaving the other guards on duty vulnerable to some degree..he created quite a distraction.

Shocking behaviour. Absolutely worst I have seen. Poor guards and horses should not have to put up with this. In my country police would have arrested him. Shame these officers do not have the power.

In Holland drinking in public is an offence. The police would at least take the bottle of him and send him on his way or when he causes trouble arrest him for being drunk in public. Alas, MOD police have no jurisdiction outside the gates so they would have to call in Met Police.
