1. 1.6-1.8g per kg of bodyweight is beneficial for maximal growth

2. Atleast 2.5 grams of leucin every 4 hours is necessary to activate protein synthesis genetic machinery

3. Their is a protein refractory period that occurs after 2 hours of protein synthesis that lasts 2-3 hours before protein synthesis can be activated again. Eating additional protein during this period will not add any more benefits to muscle growth. So spread large protein meals over the course of 4 hours

4. You must activate protein synthesis after catabolic states such as endurance training and sleeping. Eat a protein rich meal for breakfast, and a protein rich meal after endurance training to turn your protein synthesis machinery on
